Musical Rests in Sheet Music

Rests are intervals of time in which there must be silence, that is, no notes should be played at that moment.

The logic of the lengths is exactly the same as we saw for rhythmic note values. There are whole note rests, half note rests, quarter note rests, etc. See the representation for each one of them below:
